Ateneo Fiesta

Ateneo de Zamboanga University officially started their Fiesta 2008 last Wednesday with a university mass that started at 2pm in the afternoon.
Today however, is the most awaited Alumni Homecoming celebration with the usual city torch parade at 5pm and the fireworks display later in the evening.
A lot of Alumni Honorees will once again grace this event with fond memories of their school days in the Ateneo. Fun and laughter will surely follow. After all this is one occasion most of them will be able to see their fellow classmates from not that long ago. Food and Beer will definitely flow tonight. I'm sure of it. :-) I will be posting pictures of tonight's celebration in the coming days. Ariva Ateneo! Pro Deo Et Patria!

Thailand Airports

Whew! Now people can go in and out of Thailand again and just in time too before his Majesty the King's 81st birthday on December 5th. Grabe gayot! After the People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD)'s closure of the two main international airports of Thailand (Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang) for about a week, travellers can now resume their travel plans. Exporters and the airport management can look forward to doing business as usual too. But then again, they lost billions of baht in this fiasco....tsk tsk...

World of Goo

Well if you like the physics type of game like what you've seen in the Iphone, then surely you will love this game. The world of Goo is totally out of this world and so much fun to play with. I really cannot describe the game fully, you just have to play it to find out. Quite ingenious work. :-)

Seriously, this is unacceptable. Damn it ABC! Clearly you guys don't know good shows from bad. Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money were two really good shows for me...wtf!! I'm sad. Really really sad. Tuesday nights will never be the same again.

PLDT DSL Sucks!

These days my patience is running very low on two important things that matters to me – the reception of one my mobile phone service provider and the speed of my internet provider. I can’t pick an either or, they both make me wanna do these ------------>>>>>>>

It is really FRUSTRATING, my ISP (PLDT) for recent weeks now, has been soooo slow....really terrible. Also, SUN cellular reception has typically gone down the drain literally. Be it in Manila or in Zamboanga, Sun Cellular signal really SUCKS! @#$%^#^#&@!&^&&^% gggrrrrr

Last Sunday, my good friend "E" went to see this concert happening in The Fort Open Field, Global City, in Taguig. Over 70,000 followers appeared in the concert venue to show their support for the two of the hottest pop sensations performing in the year's most-awaited back-to-back concert. "E" got lost somewhere in between the crowds after buying something to eat...! A huge crowd really....but he enjoyed the 3 hour show nonetheless.

Google Phone (G1)

My friend "D" got a G1 last week and was very happy with it. This mobile phone is an alternative to Apple's iPhone and is the first cell phone powered by Google's Android operating system. The new gadget features a touch screen, slide-out keyboard and a trackball. So much for the hype on the buzz out Iphone....Love it or Hate it!

Latest Bond Film

I recently watched Quantum of Solace, Bond's latest flick, but sad to say I'm a bit disappointed. Acting was good, but the storyline was messy!! Oh well, you can't have it both ways...can you? If you enjoyed the film, well good for you.....
